The Comox Valley remains a popular Real estate Hotspot for people to invest, retire & escape the hustle, bustle & expense of big city living. As we move into 2020 we are expecting a similar market to 2019 where inventory remained tight, the number of sales for single family homes was down about 7% and the average housing price increased up another 7% to $579,567.  Buyers who took a ‘wait and see’ approach over the past 18 months are returning to the market looking to buy, confident that the Comox Valley is a safe Real estate investment and remains "relatively affordable" in comparison to the Lower Mainland and Victoria. 


What this means to you as a Seller... We expect single family homes under the $600K to hold their value, above that there may be some "softening" in prices depending on locaton and propery highlights. Affordable condos, townhouses and patio homes will remain in high demand. Inventory is expected to remain tight and demand continues and that will support prices. Multiple bids and subject free cash offers are less "common place" . As we move into Spring historically our market picks up momentum.

  • Review offers, explain strengths, weaknesses and the process of Buyer’s due diligence

STEP 6... ACCEPTED OFFER & FIRM SALE
